The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
